Steve Jobs will be at D8:All Things Digital again this year. Last time he appeared was at D5, with Bill Gates, and the interview was fascinating.

Sony is, in my opinion, the worst offender. In the past decade, I have seen Sony release cutting-edge gadgets to the market before anyone else. The PSP was an amazing gadget when it came out, in theory. It played music, videos, viewed photos, surfed the web, and of course, played games. The problem was that, excluding the last feature, it didn’t do any of them well.
This is exactly why, out of the blue, Apple is a major player in the mobile gaming market.
Amazing gadget’s need amazing software or they are just amazing at being ordinary.
Shame the whole site is in flash, the design gives you motion sickness…oh and nobody cares about a phone that looks like a pancake.
